I'm going by gallery, Mike, not by ebots. I saved you for the end of the night because I wanted to sit back and relax with your work. I won't be able to finish tonight, so I'll continue tomorrow, but I can at least start...
You've posted a big number of wonderful images since I left. Pretty freakin' sneaky. I love this wild cross thing, and its almost-ceramic surface. It's polished glazed pottery. And those shiny skulls, with the tangled ceramic branches and chains...what a great object. You light it with lots of shadow and mystery. And I love the black background.
Then---boom! Zlata! What a contrast she was---with all those white 'candies' all over her wings. Like some kind of sugar candies we had as kids. She's just great down there, in her usual oranges and browns and green and orange-brown patches...and those thick curly-q wings. This is a terrific combination, and makes the cross playful as well as sinister (with tongue in cheek of course). Love this piece. Great to know that she---not the skulls---calls the shots. Terrific piece!
