Description
One of the redeeming qualities to my morning commute is that I sometimes get to see some wonderful sunrises. The downside is that I rarely have enough time to actually stop and enjoy them. This morning's drive was already a bit distracted because I knew the sky was especially colorful, and I kept steeling glances at it as I drove. Once I turned eastward I got to really appreciate it (without sacrificing as much of my attention to my driving) more fully, and then realized there was something a bit more unusual going on.
Which prompted my car to abruptly pull off of the road, toss me and my camera out, and refuse to allow me back on the road until I'd at least *tried* to take a few pictures.
I find it's better not to argue with her when she gets like that.

don't know what this event is called but it is fantastic. I know that if were riding my bike, it would apply the brakes and not let me pedal until I got some shots as well.
Great shot and incredible sky, thanks for sharing !
Excellent photo!!
Well, your car is obviously well versed in photography opportunities. I'd keep that one for a while...
This is a gorgeous sunrise, Mike!
My drones are waiting anxiously for one of those spectacular sunsets..
