I thought you'd used a real eye somehow, but you blended it with genuine tree patterns and hues to where it didn't look like a blend so much as a re-construction of an eye. As a shot of a tree knot, this is another of your vital rushing and passionate captures. With your signature reds and yellows, among a number of combos you use. And your postwork allows the center to stand out. (And amazing how these inside-the-eye-of-the-hurricane centers are always such flat simple wood. Like doorways.) Beautiful tree capture.
