Cool! More wonderful stone drawings!!
As I've said before, your archaeological drawings have 'presence'. They feel like little beings...
Again, your pencil work is beautiful, you use cross hatch and shading (I assume with the side of the pencil), and you capture all kinds of curves and cut-outs and such. This looks like very meticulous work, even tedious. I wonder if you liked doing these, or felt exhausted afterwards. (I'd hate doing them---guaranteed---but I'd feel really good that I did them.) Since you told me that you did these on the same piece of paper---ie, you didn't paste---I imagine you feeling that every stroke was precious: If you erased, you had to be veddddy careful not to ruin the adjacent drawing. A labor of love, Helle. And soooooo glad you found these...
I love looking at these, even if I don't often comment. Your drawings are so wonderful, and I especially like your archaeological pieces.
These drawings are just priceless, Helle! You're inspiring me to break out the old reliable #2 pencil and just play... Beautiful drawings!
Wonderful drawings Helle. God bless.
You are oustandingly good at these!
Cutting edge draftsmanship in these sharp illustrations, Helle.
