Rosin on the bow, and here we go! A hootenanny like never before.
The ninth photo I posted on Renderosity, it was captured way back on 4/25/06 during my first trip to the beautiful Descanso Gardens in beautiful Flintridge/LaCañada, California. I received all of one comment on it, and things haven't improved that much since then.
The lady enjoyed fiddling up a storm, and was one of a trio entertaining the visitors at the Gardens. I never expected to see that much red amidst all that greenery.

She's playing an electric violin---though she may not be wired. But your shot shows a big bright shock of pink-red, against a quiet, gentle green background---striking contrast. And the lady looks like she's playing for you. A real violin-playing pose, Harry, you got it intuitively, with light on her playing fingers (that is, opposite the bow hand) and light on the bow, and of course in spots all across her and her red-pink violin. A beauty of a music capture. Jock should appreciate this!
