Description
This is the saddle road on the big island of Hawaii. I love how the fog echoes the shape of the mountain; it's actually about a mile from Mauna Kea. We were staying in Kona and drove over to Hilo. Quite the drive but boy, what a view!! BTW, we met Sharky while were on the Hilo side and he took us on the most amazing tour of that side of the island. I saw more waterfalls than I'd ever seen and he even took us down into the Waipio Valley (a drive NOT for the faint of heart!!)

again, ditto claude---it's almost a pure abstract painting. Beautiful quality to the fog; and the contrast of those deep oranges with the blues above is terrific. As is the silhouette of the trees on the lower right: This looks like the Savannah. A beautiful purified shot. Really beautiful.
