I still have trouble processing the concept of 'winter flowers'. This is wonderful. The detail is excellent. You can see a silken spider's thread in the center.
Stellar image Andrea. I love the detail of the naughty bits.
Great shot Andrea :)
Fab shots, Andrea
Absolutely wonderful, Andrea. Hard to write with an over afffectionate cat on my lab. He has just eaten and says thanks for the dinner.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
I love hellebore, and miss seeing them! We have roses blooming in Texas all winter while the hellebore is in full bloom up north, and by the time we get back to Washington, they're over and gone. Thanks for this ... it's lovely!
Perfection in your garden!!
Splendid shot! :)
Very pretty flowers.
Thanks for sharing.

both pics are beautiful. THe flickr version has light from behind, and it's jewel-like. This is softer, more intimate; and, in full view, it's like velvet. The pov---with the hellebore looking down a bit---is very expressive. And as always your background work is blurby and bubbly and works seamlessly with the flower. Both beautiful images.
(There's a Helle pun in "hellebore".)
What a beauty with outstanding details 😀
I love Hellebore, and we bought some dark red ones, as this kind all went away (dead or something, LOL). A most lovely picture, Andrea, what does justice to it.
