"Claudia DeNar!" She shrieked like my name itself was an accusation, like she was shouting 'baby killer' in another language. I Looked up at her over the frames of my glasses, moving only my eyes and barely acknowledging her, not to be mean, more fatigue really; I've played out this scene more than once before. "And you would be one of my clients wives." "You don't know, you don't even know who your sleeping with!" She keeps storming; one of the Baristas is reaching for her phone, but I wave her off discretely. I allow the touch of a smile to tweak at the corners of my mouth just before I reply, "I know exactly who I'm sleeping with Precious, but Im not sleeping with you; and which of my boys you belong to .. to that I have no clue." ----------------------------------------------- I wrote the first draft of this Story over a year ago from "Connie's" Point of View, but I've been wanting to revisit it from Claudia's seat; and have been toying around with Illustrating it somehow.
