Comments are welcome. Of course, my dog accompanied me during the walk but sometimes I had to take her in the arm. Luckily, this is no problem with a small dog ;)

Wonderful colored pond und die baumstämme teils im sonnenschein oder schatten! Schaut man nicht genau hin erinnert es an mangroven in luisiana ☺

Both fine photos. Extreme weather can definitely cause serious problems - even be life threatening - but in this case, it created some photographic opportunities which you used to good advantage...

Beautiful images of a very serious situation. I hope you did not suffer damage.

Yes, as Carin said, "Beautiful images of a very serious situation. I hope you did not suffer damage". I saw the photos on your website, the photos are beautiful, but the flood is massive. In this photo, the light on the water is beautiful, as are the shadows. I know this brought terrible consequences, and I hope everyone is ok. But your photos do bring out the beauty in the water. This photo is particularly beautiful...

I could not take mine up like that. the smaller male 70# can be carried but the female nearly 80# pounds would be too much for me.

put some ice skates on your dog!! I like the ice against the barren trees. makes for a great foto
