Both fine photos. Extreme weather can definitely cause serious problems - even be life threatening - but in this case, it created some photographic opportunities which you used to good advantage...

Yes, as Carin said, "Beautiful images of a very serious situation. I hope you did not suffer damage". I saw the photos on your website, the photos are beautiful, but the flood is massive. In this photo, the light on the water is beautiful, as are the shadows. I know this brought terrible consequences, and I hope everyone is ok. But your photos do bring out the beauty in the water. This photo is particularly beautiful...
