Zoom shows a mixture of watercolor techniques, and even drawing, and inks. A fascinating mix of techniques in this digital image. The scene is a sensitive embrace between two lovers, and I love how the woman's hand is holding the man's face. And your costume work is first-rate as always.
In the background, a woman playing a violin---she looks a bit like a Gypsy. She has a country-look, for sure; she's rustic. I love how she holds the violin up against her face like that---very untraditional, and expressive. And the room has light and shadow, and lots of space. Plus a painting in the background that looks like one of the French Kings. Very delicately done, Ute; and you couldn't have made it for a finer, kinder and more sensitive artist---and member here---Barb. She's wholly deserving. I see she really liked it too. Beautiful piece.

This looks a warm, pleasurable indoor scene. Love the glow around the lights. I was going to ask whether you rendered it using Poser and then used Photoshop to make it look like a watercolor, or whether it was a hand-drawn watercolor from the start. But I saw your reply to RRun above. :)
I think there's just a small problem. Maybe the furniture and the lady fiddler should have reflections on the floor, like the windows? ;)

Perhaps YES, but this was a mixed-medium with my own tubes - Therefore it was not possible to insert a shadow!
