I think it's an American Southwest dog, enjoying the sunset...

He seems to be melting in the southwest sun, but looks quite happy and relaxed. Your doggies are always fun.
Cool rendering of the glowing dog contrasted against the pitch black surface while warming itself under the shimmering sun, Mark. I like the way the surface softly blends into the sky with a grainy effect. A unique exercise in striating on top. Sorry to be negatively pragmatic, but apparently the pooch isn't aware of its plight, all alone with nary a soul, cover, food or water in sight. And that surface of black can get insanely hot under the Southwest sun.
That is one happy, relaxed pup! I love the sun. This is a great combination of hand work and computer art.
