another delight...either cupid lost his aim and his arrows wound up under a rock somewhere, or the dog intercepted them, thinking he was doing a big favor...(my childhood dog never chased sticks, btw; he'd look at us as if to say, "you've got to be kidding...") (like he had serious reading to do). You perched the dog on a mound, and you have a kind of paradise-like bunch of ferns all around it; well composed. And the light on the edges of the mountains really brings out the dog, and gives a glow to the whole piece. And Cupid has a cartoon-like expression. More of your story-book illustration, delightful and very deftly done; and very friendly, and filled with love too...
