Description
One of several old film shots I scanned of a trip I took to New Mexico perhaps some 30 plus years ago. This was at the world famous Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, which is held each October. I was on my way to visit my brother in Santa Fe at the time and it just so happened to coincide with the festival.

WOW! That must have been a fantastic sight in reality. I find this so beautiful, but had it been with zeppelins, it would have given me nightmares. Dont know why, as I never saw such as a child. It still gives me goosebumps.

exciting to see so many, near and far, with that central ballon in the front of the shot. Beautiful colors and space, and such a flat landscape too---it sets off the huge amount of sky in your crop. And the sky is dotted with balloons! A very restful and large-feeling shot: It gives context to some of your other balloon shots, where you have mainly one balloon. Here we can see a whole flock of them...Fine work, angle and sweep...
