We just came back from seeing a really good film about death from a child's point of view ("A Monster Calls"). Beautiful fantasy imagery combined with a very human story - if you've seen "Pan's Labyrinth" & liked it, it has a very similar feel to it...

another example of why full size is so much better. The hues of those front flowers just burst into our eyes, full size. So much light in the tops. And I love how they 'pyramid' their way to the top, to match the stone in back (that was your choice, of course: you chose the angle that brought that out)*** Not only well composed, but you brought out the flower-hues beautifully. Wonderful contrast, and those hues are just eye candy. Beautiful job, Tara.
***(no, you hired the flowers from an LA agent, you paid them, you lined them up and told them where to stand, you shouted a lot, you spent 2 hours setting up the lights, and then you took 250 shots, and spent 2 days picking the best. And you said things like, "ok, people, lets look lively, let's look alive! More passion! More élan! More joie de vivre! I've run out of French...work with me, people, work with me...) (it's late in chicago, go along with me here...)
This is a great, glorious looking image, dear friend. The light on it brings as it where hope, what one really can need, particular on a cemetery, huh?
