I wonder if she's thinking of her own childhood days, long gone, dear unburdened and lighthearted years being replaced by adult rules and seriousness. I wonder if she's a mother now, feeling responsible but also wanting to be transfered back to her past, when the world seemed so much easier. I wonder if she's a mother that sadly can not afford any of the toys she sees for her own child(ren). I wonder if she knows that children really most of all need attention and love.
