The light and atmosphere are simply superb !
beautifully composed, with the slope and the slowly turning road, and the haze in the background, and with so much detail in the foreground. The reddish-brown of that road makes beautiful contrast with the greens and dark hues of the surrounding. And the trees---almost silhouettes in this light---are beautiful, bony and articulate. A beautiful view, beautifully realized.
