Description
A serendipity piece!
I was clearing out a cupboard in my department at school and came across a squeezy bottle of red marker ink, designed, rather badly as it turned out, to refill industrial felt pens.
This flea is the result of the ensuing accident, I was able to make something of the mess on the card, but not on the desk or my clothes!!
I have added 'ink outlines' filter, which has manufactured some interest in the background.
I hope you like this, as I do, it is one of the few bits I didn't want to part with at my last exhibition!

Oh, thank God, I thought you had started using an electron microscope! So this started out as an ink splotch and you turned it into a rather demonic looking flea? A superb rendering. Outstanding work.
YIKES! Do they look like this. Pitty, because I have killed severel bird flees from my cat :) Wonderful result of an accident. Superbly done Andrea :)))

I love these adaptation of blurb pieces of yours. I also love your "blow" art, like the one you did for Helle. (That was the bee's knees!) (You know that expression in Britain, right? I have no idea where it comes from, but it means "the best," in case you haven't heard it.) Love how you found a flea in this, and outlined all the important parts. And made eyes, and hairy legs, and even a hint of a smile. And then texturized it all, making it art on fabric. Terrific. I love the helle piece too. (I gave her some music privately this year.) It's been a feast to see all this 2D from you, after a long while. I've just loved it.
