Description

This is the Ford Galaxie 500 with a "Ranchero" style body. It was an alternative design, along with a station wagon body, provided by Russel C. at the Sketchup Warehouse. Ford did not actually put this model into production, however they did produce a station wagon version. It's too bad they did not opt for the "Ranchero" It would have been a classic!

Actually the 1964 Ford Ranchero was based on the Ford Falcon body style which was a compact car at the time. It WAS a very nice looking car, but this Galaxy Ranchero could have really been a great looking car and better competition for the Chevy El Camino probably.

The 64 Ranchero was a nice looking car but yes this looks better and probably would have sold well too. Nice work on this model.
