I'm liking the black and white photography. Though fall is one of the most beautiful and colorful times of the year, it leaves it to ones imagination to paint in the colors. Besides, after cleaning up the leaves several times this fall only to see an equal amount still on the ground(now covered in snow), I know the colors well. Hope you're feeling better soon!

This is not far from your home, I see the water tower. I feel for the kid that has to rake those leaves, color or black and white.

As I told you elsewhere, I think this is one of your most expressive, mysterious, and finest blacks and whites. (And grays.) Amazing tones; and the car, with its flare and bright light across the top, seems apocalyptic, as if it dropped-in from another planet. The lights on the leaves are marvelous, the deep gray shadows on the buildings are terrific, you got a hazy softness in the trees, and you got a gray bleached white in the sky, which harmonizes with the rich grays of the shot. And then, the composition is so rich: The sidewalk goes back, but then meets a line of houses crossing the front-to-back perspective of the shot. And the back is sunken in shadows, while the light is at top and center. Heavy duty feeling in this, with a feeling of nostalgia in the mystery of fall light and shade, and a wonderful handling of black and white. This calls out to be wall-size. Terrific work, Harry. This could be Chicago in fall, if those few palm trees weren't there. Truly evocative work.
