Each of these peaks of gravel represent a very large dump truck load, which will be used to reinforce the existing roadbed.
There "may" be figures and facts somewhere, but the project is enormous and costly, while maintaining traffic flow which backs up at least twice a day for miles... and you think you have headaches :)
