woke up way too early and sat out on the front porch and saw the street lights shining through the trees in the rain. Steadied the camera against the wall and took this shot - it is cropped and slightly enhanced

I should be doing pieces more recent than this, but I wanted to catch up on a couple of 'older' ones (well, a month old)...I Loved this for the dark quiet-hour feeling, and the way light makes it all very intimate. I assume you went back to sleep after this? A quick middle of the night shot? And that thing under the tree, on the left---it looks like a bowling pin! (A very big bowling pin) I imagine it's not, but it's really cool sitting there like that, w/ some of the only blue in the shot. Very intimate and mysterious, Mike. I'm glad you got up to take this.
(Btw, I removed the "frustrated" upload ((where I told people about your dedi)), because of an argument with someone on rr...a story for another time. But I was pissed off. Hope it didn't take anyone away from the dedi...it seemed to get a late showing, so hopefully the ebot went out after all---just late. With RR, late is better than never...)
