I cannot describe how disgusted I am with parents who encourage their kids to eat this rubbish!
But we are all different, I suppose.
Because my son didn't get this stuff he had good teeth up to his fifties, and they are still not bad, only one or two fillings.

You and mom would have gotten along fabulously! Back when people would give out suckers here to kids she had no problem telling anyone that her kids were not allowed to have that stuff! My son just never developed a sweet tooth so that helped with him.
Was there a dentist's van close by?
