Jasmine came down off of the ridge & joined Zlata. "Where did the young girl go?" she asked Zlata as she jumped to the ground. "After asking me what I thought I was doing, she ran off in that direction." answered Zlata. pointing to the left. "Well she is the least of our worries." said Jasmine, turning & looking up at the horn, that was lodged in the branch of the tree on the other side of the gorge. Zlata felt so cross with herself, not looking where she was going, how could she have missed the young girl sleeping on the grass. On no, she thought, maybe I am needing glasses. From above her she heard someone calling, it was Zwoggle. He & Truly had caught up to them. "Hi, yuhoo." shouted Zwoggle. Truly came down to Zlata's side. "Why are you two looking so glum?" she asked Jasmine & Zlata. Then she heard a gasp from Zwoggle, she turned to see him pointing over the ridge & she looked to see what had caught his attention & as she looked she too gasped. "Oh, no is that the horn that we are trying to find the owner of." she cried. "It sure is." said Jasmine. "Well that's it then." said Zlata. "We will have to give up the search." "Don't be so defeatist Zlata." said Jasmine. Zlata hadn't a clue what defeatist meant but she wasn't going to let on to the others. "What do you suggest we do? asked Truly. "Well, I am going to try, If I can, to jump across the gorge." replied Jasmine. "WHAT!!!" the other three chorused. "No, No Jasmine you mustn't do that, that's NOT a good idea. Lets wait for Meadow, she cannot be too far behind" Truly told her. Jasmine didn't reply she walked to the edge of the ridge, best not look down, she thought to herself.
