I've never done mono prints with that gell thing, but I love using inks for them!
I never tried with ink, but I have ink, so I could.
Splendid triptych. Interesting effects displayed in an art medium that I am completely unfamiliar with, Helle. Is a gelli (jelly?) plate where you literally get your fingers dirty from ink?
Outstanding art work Helle. God bless.
Absolutely wonderful paintings !!!!!!!!!!!
Really superb artwork. Well done!
A very interesting medium - this is really cool, Helle!
I love the gritty feel of these prints. And how the patterns get all grainy and gritty. And yet the simplicity of them too. Given that you're often creating highly complex, blended textures, I love your simpler pieces, because I'm struck at how expressive they are as well. The third panel is more complex than the top two, with an 'underwater' effect. I love the green and other hues washing over those trees. And the dark moon---love it. The other 2 panels deal with viaduct forms, and big slabs of single colors which fade into each other, and which have decay and fade build into them. A fine triptych, I love how you turn simple expressions into gritty complex ones. Your sense of decay was one of the first things I saw in your gallery (years back), and I always loved how you turned it into art.
