Hi There =) ! Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders. I had gotten up early and had gone over to the sail boat to do some maintenance work. Miho was still sleeping at that time. I was done with the interior and was on the deck checking things when I saw Miho open the patio door and stepping out with a cup of coffee on one hand and a phone in the other. She was busy talking to someone... Probably one of her friends. I waved at her and she looked at me and raised her cup in response. She was looking beautiful in the pink sarong she had wrapped around her. About this render: This was another render where i used ZBrush to create the custom hair morph to make the hair appear pressed, in this scene by the phone. Think it makes the pose look more natural. I started with a base pose. Added the coffee cup and the phone and then posed her hands and arms. Then added the sarong, changed its material and also did some work on it in ZBrush to drape it more naturally. Then added the house prop I had. Did a test render and then decided to change a few materials. Changed the glass material on the door and windows and also the wood frame around the glass door. Also changed the chrome materials on the door handles and railing. The wall texture was already looking good so did not modify it. Did another test render and the scene looked good. The reflection on the glass windows and door was looking nice but it showed the blue sky with a white ground (basically my skymap). Had to do something about the white ground so decided to add water to give the house a feel of being next to the ocean. The reflection now looked good but it was still appearing empty. So added the sailboat. It looked nice. Then thought of adding a character (me) as waving to Miho from the boat. It looked nice on the reflection. Finally added bright lights inside the room (you can see the room back wall and a door through the window glass reflection and the floor being bright does cut the reflection of the chairs) and added a bit of steam on the coffee cup, though not very visible against the bright highlights on the sarong. To make Miho appear so bright under the hot sun, I adjusted the sun light and the ambient light and also added a white panel below her and on her right side outside the view. I made sure none of the white panels where reflected anywhere on the reflective surfaces in the render. Didn't use a shallow DOF as she already stood out against a dark background.
