Not sure where i was quite going with this, but has to do with me getting fired at my job.
I had mentioned in my last post he told me I was done there, but will give me 30 more days too work.
Now her comes the most unreal odds and strange part. First I want to say I swear on the bible that I had nothing to do with I'm about to mention.
He told me on Tuesday that I was done and had those 30 days left.
On weekday morning when I showed up for work, apparently the front glass window at our building was shot out. I have no guns and did not do this. My employer did not accuse me of it but what the heck would you think. Steve gets fired then our window is shot out, he put 2&2 together on assuming I did it and was fired later that day after I did my daily duties. I mean what are the freaking odds in that happening right after I was told that and only our windows in the long building that has two other businesses?
I must say a dark cloud is hanging over me right now.
I highly appreciate all your friendships, art, comments and words of help. Hope you enjoy this strange post.

Oh please, that totally bites hon!! I'm so sorry this all happened at once to you. That's just the pits. I hope the police find who did the shooting and tell him in no uncertain terms. They probably won't though - sigh. You didn't need that. I wish you best of luck in finding another job real soon. Beautiful render and so fitting.

It's heartening to read all your friends here, who feel deeply for what happened to you. And I, with everyone else, have no doubt that you had nothing to do with that smashed glass. (I was going to suggest maybe your boss did it, just to blame him.) A few weeks back, I read a comment from you, in Rod's gallery, where you spoke of the constant problems your boss was making for you. I've been in a few such jobs, so I know what it's like to be under someone who never gives you a freaking break, never appreciates what you do, doesn't know you from squat---or does, but doesn't give a fig---and who drives you relentlessly, even on days when you've done 3 days work and are done-in. Such people just don't care, and it's awful that they get to be in charge. You're at their total mercy, which is how it sounded for you.
I felt really bad for you, after reading that comment. So I wasn't surprised when I read that you'd been fired. But then this---with the glass? And the suspicion that it was you? Some people are bad karma, your boss is bad karma: There's no redemption in them, and they'll look for something bad in other people no matter what. You got walloped by his acts, all in a couple days, and I'm really sorry Steve. I'll tell you something. When Lars passed, I started to go to his fans' galleries, and I saw how rich and imaginative, playful and lush your work was...and also what a deep and loyal following you have. I saw your fans responding to your lush imagery as well as your heart, friendship and care. And I thought: Can a man work with someone so long, and not know this about their employee? The following that employee has? The quality of their friends, and talent? It's criminal that a boss could treat you that way without knowing what a positive, glowing force you are, or what lush, beautiful work you produce. I only wish you the speediest remedy from this...and, in the long run, it's his loss: You're much richer than he is; and it's awful that such small people can hold the reins over people who are so much bigger than them. I wish you all the best in getting through this, getting a much better job, and getting back to normal again.
Well, as for the image, it's radiantly red, very lush, and filled with your usual playful and macabre feelings. And your usual surreal sense---with a great fragmented backdrop (the painting), and a basketball (!), and a Salvador Dali-like clock, and so on. Wonderful surreal imagery---even how her dress and vest are in alternating reds and grays. Wonderful job, Steve! I hope that you will soon work with people who appreciate your riches a whole lot more than that man did. My very best to you in everything!
