Description
A drawing of an archeologic find from stone-age. I drew this, when I was working in a local museum in this area some years back.

Such a good drawing of a very unpleasant weapon!
I remember you sharing some of your drawings from that assignment. I hope you've got more ... they're a joy to see!
Good lawd! Hook and ladder in this splendid sketch of an ancient harpoon, or at least that's what I think you titled it. Or maybe it's a sewing needle that was used on the sails of boats along the fishing shores of Denmark. In any event, capital work of art, Helle.
That is an amazing drawing, Helle! Really excellent!
I remember a bunch of these, but maybe I'm just remembering wrongly. And I do appreciate how hard it is to go searching in our galleries; With this new "search engine," it's so hard. In any case, this is a wonderful drawing, your lines are subtle and very fine, you shaded and modeled beautifully, and you got the 'presence' of the thing. Maybe I'll go looking for more---I think you posted more than one or two. ANyway, this is wonderful, and the fact that it only got 4 comments is criminal. Where did everyone go? Maybe art like this isn't as popular, but it's the core of what artists do. Terrific drawing, and all the moreso because---if I recall correctly---you taught yourself how to do this. Bravo.
