Another one of several variations of torture I created for these pretty flowers, the original captured sometime in 2006. I've done a multitude of them.

(I hope everyone zooms, because there's real detail in them, zoomed.) Yes, these do look like they have baby powder on them. Or powdered sugar. They also feel like a carving out of some white stone---talc, soapstone; maybe out of coral. The stamen sections are amazingly powdery. Terrific textures in this, and more fine black and white work from you (you've posted some terrific blacks and whites). Terrific abstract, in medias res postwork that makes daisies look like dug-up ruins or underground creatures who have come forward to have their pictures taken. Terrific work, Harry.
