Description
The Hydrangeas have been particularly good this year, and I have been tempted (and given in ) to buying three new ones.
The blue one in the centre is probably the best and most reliable of the blues and is called Renate Steininger. I am on acid soil, but even so it is a good idea to water once a year with a bluing agent to be certain to retain the colour.
The white one on the top row is Limelight.

Always a joy to see! We don't get to sit and enjoy them very often as they keep us so busy. I hope a monthly look at yours in photos forces you to have a little quiet time with the camera instead of the spade! They will soon be running out of steam so we have to enjoy the end of summer before we feel compelled to tidy up!
lovely
