Description
Normally, I don't post WIPs but this isn't a 3D work in progress. I will post pictures as I progress on the dress' design. This took just a few tries to get the top the way I wanted it & it's still not right, but getting there.

going for marilyn monroe style or more greek-inspired? i'm sewing a red satin dress circa 1860s that required massive modification to the patterns i was able to find, so i can relate.
