My heart breaks for the kid. I spent the rest of my childhood at every school play, event, competition, and even up into High School during football games standing on the field searching the stands for someone that looked like the picture they gave me. I kept thinking, they'll come, they'll want to see me, I know. Yeah, they never came. The last time I searched the stands was Army Basic Training, and they weren't there. That's when I realized the whole time while I was searching for my 'fantasy' parents, there were two people that had been in those stands the whole time, every time.
Seriously, Dude, you sure do know how to strike a cord with your comics. I also like the way you show that it doesn't matter whether it's a mom and dad, or two dads, the emotions and feelings and problems are all the same.

People underestimate children. They know a lot more and can handle a lot more than we give them credit for. This child has a serious need for answers and his fathers will find a way to set his mind at rest. Outstanding job!
