Captured 8/15/16 @ 7:45 am, about a third of a mile from home.
A ZOOM is required to fully appreciate the stark contrast and detail.

I'm going backwards rather than forwards, but you posted a number of stunning blacks and whites, and I couldn't resist commenting on another one. More of your high contrast, with rich blacks. This one is striking for the way you split the 'canvas' in two, with that deep black on the right---with light in the background (it looks like pre-dawn)---and the striking light on the left. Fine detail once more: Look at the lines on the right-most side of the building facade---our right, not the building's right. And little car-bursts on the bottom---where the cars show up suddenly, in rich light, and then recede into the dark. The open sky on top---with a clump of leaves in the upper left corner---is perfect foil for the activity below. Beautiful black and white work, with real drama.
