I love the vibrant greens and an over all beautiful capture
Whenever I come back to RR for a few weeks, I comment 1 gallery at a time. And I try to comment on a representative sample of each artist's work. It's hard; because, with artists as fine as yourself, it means skipping images. But, because my comments are long (and they take me a while to write), I can't comment on everything I've missed. But please know that, when I skip an image, it isn't because it's less beautiful than the images I don't skip: It's only that I don't have time to comment on them all. However, I've seen all your uploads---I see them as soon as they go up---so I haven't missed any, even if I can't comment on them all.
This pic is "flooded" with bright greens and yellows. It also has deep shadows which are very restful. The result is a very restful, but lush photograph. It's beautiful. The ducks make a beautiful 'line' across this landscape (or water-scape), and you've composed the shot so that their line meets the line of a branch on the right. I love how the moss and other growth on the water looks like land---as if the ducks were walking on land (in the upper part of the photo). Beautifully composed and with beautiful light: It would be a beautiful shot without the ducks; the ducks add a perfect 'magic'.
