Description

Beaulieu Abbey Tarn-et-Garonne France The Beaulieu Abbey was founded in 1144. The first church built was probably destroyed during the Crusade against the Albigensians. It was rebuilt from 1275. The cloister was destroyed during the French Wars of Religion (XVI th century)and was not rebuilt. This abbey now hosts contemporary art exhibitions.
