Coooooooool! Closer, closer, closer!!
Wild capture
Great capture, Rob. As the son of a former B-17 pilot, I salute you good buddy.
Reach out and touch it, Rob! Super shot.
Wonderful capture.. how exciting!
The B-17 never gets over exposed. Here I notice it has 3 bladed propellors. Did I not notice that in Galveston when I walked right up to it and then the crew attempted to start it up?
How close? 100 meters? That's close. But, how about so close you can walk inside ? Man, the detail in this photo is so fantastic! Like the plane is standing still and the camera is on a tripod. You are so darned good at following and focusing. As close as this is, one would expect some speed blur! Keep up the good work! :-)
My rating - a 7 !
amazing
Great shot mate, and one of my favorite movies!
Thunderingly awesome shot of the legendary B-17 as it zooms by overhead at treetop level, with cool detail and prop blur.
That is one fine lady, Rob. And the gal depicted in the nose art is just as sexy! ;)
