A rara avis among its breed, captured 6/5/16 @ 12:39 pm, at the beautiful Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on the grounds of beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
The Jaguar XK-140 was introduced in 1954 and produced for a short time, ending in 1956. As such, these vehicles are very rare. The XK-140MC are an even rarer breed. Most of the XK-140s manufactured were roadsters. The 'M' represented 'Modified' while the 'C' was for the C-Type racing head. The FHC stands for Fixed Head Coupe. The very sporty XK-140MC produced 210 and could race from zero-to-sixty in less than 8.5 seconds. Top speed was over 120 mph.

On further reflection, I regret not having taken more shots of this dark beauty.
