Description
Here is the third version of the Woods scene. Lighting is done by two mesh lights at 45 degrees to the subject on either side. The left light is the warmer fill. The right is a cooler and stronger key.
This setup gives the scene a night time effect, since the daylight dome is not rendered. I like this one as the most dramatic of the three versions. But, I still cannot say which one I like better.
Thanks for taking the time to check them all out!

Beautiful character and great expression !!!
Thanks... I find convincing expressions to be incredibly time consuming...mainly because, you have to change a tiny bit then render to check....then change a bit...then render...etc. Happy expressions are the most difficult to make look natural. It's easy to get that "frozen clown" look with just a bit too much curve. Of course, in real life, posed smiles are hard to make look good. In this case, Beatrix is giving us a sort of half smile, like she's just been caught on camera.
