I'm later than I wanted to be, and I apologize...I like to comment on you near the end, as it's a special treat for me that way; and I might do an hour tonight and more tomorrow. (It's saturday night right now---in fact almost 1 a.m.) So here goes. And, as always after a long absence, I'm skipping, only because I can't do everything due to my slowness and length of comments...but skipping doesn't mean that the skipped images are any less! Just that I'm trying to get on a good sampling of your wonderful work...
I love how these roses reach out to us on the left of the image, and the rest is background. The leaves are gentle and peaceful back there (with stems and other blooms); while the flowers pop out at us, and they're beautiful. You got the flow, the texture, the hues, and the background hues. The background hues (w/ a lot of muted tones) make perfect, quiet backing. A beautiful shot, Helle. I spend so much time talking about your montages and paintings that I don't spend enough on your photography. It was your photography that I first saw in your gallery, and it's as wonderful and sensitive as ever.
