Wonderful. The couple is standing in front of their luggage, which has been all over the world (I mean, they've been to Africa, Asia, and India, and maybe also China or Korea---there's a big Buddha there!). I love their clothes: You're always so good at this. He's wearing a standup collar, with a thin bow-tie---almost from the 19th C. (The Charleston became popular in the U.S. in the 1920's, so it's not that far off.) And he's got great pinstripe pants, and woven shoes (leather-weave): Love those shoes! Her shoes aren't woven (I don't think), but they have a similar pattern. And she's wearing a "flapper's" dress, with the long necklace, and the usual 'cloche" which was so typical of 1920's women's wear. (Year's ago, my college girlfriend wore a cloche once in a while; and everyone asked her if she was a 'flapper'. Not quite, lol. We were hippies, so they were a little off...) The couple is definitely color-coordinated: Blacks, grays and silvery-whites. You have a violin, a chest of some kind, and a model of an old car (like a Model T). Plus that big 1920's dress hanging up on a tall pole. Delightful. Also, you gave a subtle 'grain' to the piece, to give it age. And an old cracked wall behind them---well hey! Those dancers danced in some pretty seedy joints, so the walls probably looked as old as this one! With a music-staff on top.
Delightful fantasy, with your usual meticulous and tasteful detail. A delight.
(You already commented on this, but I just wanted to give you the comparison: Here are my "1920s" shoes: "Spectator" shoes, developed in England around 1900. I wore them when I bought my condominium: They're from the same era as the shoes in your image, only they're 2 tone, rather than black.
