Description
I wanted something different for breakfast~so I made a tooty-fruity deluxe "French Toast" with strawberries, blackberries and bananas, all drowned in real Raspberry syrup with dollops of butter!
. . .and it was Good! LOL
I just had to take a pic to remember it by. ;)

That looks yummy. I'm going to relate an old "No poop, I was there..." story about my time in Monterey at the language school in '69. Every morning the menu boasted "eggs to order" among other things. The actual intention was "eggs to order provided you don't mind us ordering them for you: scrambled." Now I have nothing against scrambled eggs then or now. What I did develop an aversion to was the alternate (often this is what you "ordered" when the scrambled egg tray was low): French toast a la Army Americain. I liked French toast, but I grew to hate it. It wasn't until about 2002 in Ottawa, I can still see the breakfast nook, that I broke my fast and enjoyed the bejeebers out of it ... because it looked a lot like this image: not just eggy stale bread (there is a story there, but I digress), but fresh bread, lovely egged on, and smothered with fresh fruit!
Thank you little Canadian restaurant! You've restored my faith in "breakfast to order" where eggs are involved!
