Nah.......................she IS honestly that big, but is TOTALLY HARMLESS TO HUMANS. She is an Orb Weaver, and loves to eat all kinds of insects and even small birds who accidentally stray into her web.

Very nice capture. I at first thought it was a black widow (and that spider is not harmless). But the other photos have luckily refuted this.

Great picture,glad we don't have these in the uk yet!,it would freak me out,I wouldn't harm spiders.I even help them to go outdoors,occasionally my cat helps if he see them first.:)
