Description
Every New Year's Day in Huntington Beach, these crazy people jump in the water, freeze their tails off and jump right back out. Of course, there are a few brave souls who stay in but they turn an interesting shade of blue. My sister and I talked about having out own plunge in her pool---- sanity prevailed and we had a drink instead!!

No way, at my age, am I going to give that a go, even if there are paramedics at the scene. One bout with pneumonia was enough for me. In any event, a cool collage of the brave (or optimistic) souls testing their mettle at this yearly event, Marilyn. Brrrrrrr.
