she smells like
summer and late night
talks, engulfed by a calm, a
relaxation that you can’t help but adore
she smells like everything good in your life
Fall leaves and birthdays, the most delicate scents
and it is perfect. when the snow is dusting the ground
she smells of peppermint and vanilla, of christmas trees
and family. she is that giddy feeling you get from a hug
with your nana. she smells like spring and easter and
clear skies, she smells like blooming flowers
and the end of school. she smells
like everything

Three trees are in full bloom... perhaps it's attracting copperheads......... two casualties so far :(
