Description
Got Thorne's Merchant Resource Morphs today and couldn't wait to create a new character. I ended up with this little country girl. I call her, "Pinkie," because of how well she wears the color. Funny how you start thinking that you're going to create a fairy creature and end up with a good ol' American Girl. Sometimes, you just stop where the dials take you. :)
Aside from Thorne's morphs, this girl is wearing Gold Tassel's Dragonfly hair, and the Ronya lingerie. The setting is the Daz Window Seat that was offered as a freebie or flash sale item some months back.
I changed the lighting a bit from my usual for a couple of reasons. 1. I had to move the main fill light to the left of the scene and closer to the wall to keep the reflection out of the window. 2. I changed the right point light to white instead of the blue cast, so it would look more natural in the tungsten lit environment.
I don't think this girl looks 100% realistic. But, she is rather cute.

Excellent character's expression and pose, beautiful lighting of the scene !!
Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun creating these things. I'll post another shot of her with a different skin in a minute. What took me the longest time was shaping the body and face. I was trying for long, lean, with young and petite. She either kept looking like a long rectangle or a skeletal hourglass...LOL I think I finally got a good balance. The pose was from the Gen3 standing poses, but altered for the head tilt and expression. I think she appears to either be looking at someone across the room, or possibly at a mirror.
Lighting - I wish I knew how to turn up the window seat lights. I like the ambient light they are supplying the scene. I just can't seem to find them in the scene tree. So, they must be hidden in the Surfaces tab somewhere. I would like them to act as a rimlight for Pinkie's hair. It would both make her hair pop, and at the same time, link her to her environment.
very effective lighting and pose
wonderful!!!
