Description
I came across these a few days ago. I was just wandering around a wood taking photos and I'd got to the top of a steep ascent when I saw them from some way off. They were literally glowing like a flame against the leaves and the tree trunks and it took me a couple of minutes to realise what I was seeing. I set off towards them, but the wood is full of steep slopes and paths which go off at odd angles so I lost sight of them and it was about 20 minutes or so before they suddenly appeared in front of me as I was coming from a totally different direction than when I'd first seen them. I hope you agree it was well worth the hunt!
