We’re going to leave this story for a while, then return to it when Al gets out.
I wont beat a dead philosophical horse here, but it’s sometimes bleakly amusing to see what people do “in the name of (insert name of preferred deity of choice here)!”, as though Jesus would be delighted to see His followers stomping around on other people’s simple right to use the bathroom or as though Allah would be just thrilled to see some girl forced into a marriage she doesnt want. Curiously enough (or maybe not so), in both cases, the “traditional” way of handling such problems is, of course, to simply destroy those who disagree with you or dont meet your particular standard of an acceptable level of faith in Whatever Might Be Out There Supposedly Watching Over Us.
And that right there is an ironic concept at best, since the WMOTWOU doesnt really seem to give much of a damn about His/Her/Its creation. Yet, here we are, painting “Thank You God!” on the roof of our house when everyone else’s has been destroyed by a tornado. Forcing women to be fully covered head to toe just because men are so weak that the sight of an unclothed ankle would drive them into some kind of sexual frenzy.
Is this what “God” (whatever you use for that) really intended for us? To be this revoltingly stupid about our relationship to each other?
I may believe in a lot of things when it comes to Him/Her/It, but that one really strains credibility…
OK, a few days of filler nonsense, as we usually do after these mega-arcs, then we’ll be checking in to see how the production of FERRO 2 is coming along. The big premiere is, after all, in a couple of months.

Nice work. Satan in Hebrew and related languages means 'the angry one' or 'the accuser'. He is traditionally considered to be the adversary of God in the Christian-Islamic religions. Yet, Christians and Muslims seem to spend more time worshipping Satan than God. You can look at the Bible as divine knowledge from God or as a cultural artifact which reflects human history and psychology. Taking the second approach you can define Satan as an animal instinct to condemn non-standard behaviors especially in the area of sex. As a species approaches being an intelligent form of life, intelligence can interfere with reproduction. Then only the individuals more obsessed with sex reproduce. This obsession leads to the creation of rules. In evolution, changes sexual behavior are one of the primary drivers of speciation. An obsession with enforcing rules on sexual behaviors leads to the suppression of closely related lineages. Hence the extermination of the Neanderthal and Denisovan hominid lines. Did you know that all of the Neanderthal genome is still present in current human populations with the exception of the X and Y chromosomes. So, scientifically speaking Satan is an animal obsession with rules concerning sexual behaviors and 'righteous' anger at their violation. This is consistent with the Biblical Satan since it was judging sex to be evil and covering their genitals which got Adam and Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Regardless of how you read the Bible, an obsession with sexual morality is Satanic. Still, there is memesis or cultural evolution. Scientifically speaking, since traditional norms are the product of evolution and rebellion against them is the product of a desire to freely act on our feelings or animal instincts, science will come down in favor of traditional norms most of the time. Of course, evolution is environment dependent as the environment changes, norms need to change to fit the environment, so traditional norms need to be modified. There is a saying in Hebrew about interpreting the Talmud that the new trumps the old. I forget the exact Hebrew phrase. You can define Lucifer scientifically as the body of animal instincts which guided us as hunter-gatherers before the invention of agriculture. In those circumstances instinct and survival are in agreement with each other. The development of agriculture leads to a disagreement between instinct and survival, and obeying Lucifer becomes non-survival. Hence he is a 'fallen' angel. One time a trustworthy guide to mankind and now he will lead you to ruin. Virtue as Aristotle said, lies in the middle. You have to work with Lucifer to get the drugs you need to be happy (natural highs), but he cannot be your master, as his guidance is not suited to the environment you live in. This conflict has led to all feelings and desires being labeled as bad, when in fact they are not. They are dangerous but not 'evil'. You need a compromise.
