Description

I've been struggling with this IRAY render for a couple of days and ended up doing two renders - one with IRAY lights (which ran overnight) and a regular 3 Delight render and blending the two. The 3Delight render has a Uberenvironment light and a 3 point lighting rig including a ceiling light, key and fill lights. It looked okay but a bit flat and the gold of the armbands and bracelets just didn't look "right". The IRAY render has one of the Ultra Genesis environments (RDNA) and again a 3 point rig with Ultra Genesis mesh lights. The iRAY version had a LOT more contrast and drama but her eyes were in complete darkness and if I tried lightening it up in PSE, the highlights got blown out. So the final version is the 3Delight Render as the bottom layer, with the iRAY layer over it at 70% opacity. Then I did some additional masking to allow her eyes to show through a bit more as well as lightening her belly and thigh. The dress is Morning Star for G2F from RPublishing and Rhiannon at Renderosity. The scenery is Helena Tomb.
