Ute, I've commented in only a few of my favorite galleries, so far, because I've been so slow, this time around. I can barely catch up anywhere. But I didn't want to wait any longer to come to your work. I've seen everything you've posted, but now I have the difficult task of "picking representative images" from all the images you've posted since I've last commented here. It's never easy, because you make so many magical images. So I'm just going to dive in and pick images as I go along. I hope I get a good representative sampling.
This is beautiful! I love your treatment of this woman. Her hair is beautifully "flared out", and her smile is wonderful. And she faces a little to our right, as she turns our head to us, to invite us in for some wine. You've used Klaus's photos beautifully in your gallery. And you've placed the woman right in the opening in the trees, so she emerges out of the forest like a burst of light. Wonderful lighting on her, wonderful gold-flesh tones, I love the light on her dress---esp on the white parts---and her hands and the wine are done beautifully too. Beautiful piece. You handle models so beautifully. They're radiant.
