Other than being a bit dark for me to see the details. I find this a might dramatic moment with several possibilities. The one I hope is the young man with the gun is a policeman and is about to go out on duty and his partner asks that he, "Be Careful Out There."
The other possibility is more tragic in that they are ready, for some horrible reason, to die together. "Take Me With You, Baby!"
