Description
Promised this, very difficult to get a good shot of this one, it has a high landing speed..
This gives you an idea just how big it is, there is someone's head in the shot and the pilot can be seen. Flaps down....doesn't help much!

Very well taken !
Nice image. Faster shutter speed maybe next time?
Fabulous... Very great capture !!!
Great capture Rob
"And here comes the eagle, ready to snatch a head or two for lunch! Duck, everybody! (Quack! Quack!). No, not THAT type of duck!"
This really looks like a wide winged bird of prey swooping down for a catch. Very nice, the "problems" are (to me, at least) not noticeable. Shall I say excellent shot? You bet! Keep up the good work! :-)
My rating - 6+
A much longer span than the first photo would indicate. Superb shot!
For such an long Lens you have took an great shot..... I take it that the lens is also an NIKON
stunning
I think you should have started running as it looks like it is heading for you.
Watch those wingtips.
What a great shot, Rob! That's an amazing glider, but I'm glad I'm not trying to land that thing! :-D
